Scoria is said to be hugely beneficial and powerful in calming skin conditions like Eczema, Psoriasis etc due to its high-bacterial properties.

Here are a couple of benefits to using a Konjac sponge:

  • They're Extremely Gentle on the Skin

  • They're Great Makeup Removers

  • They Give You a Radiant Glow

  • They Deep Clean in Just a Few Steps

  • Different Coloured Konjac Sponges Signify Different Active Ingredients

  • They Can Be Used All Over the Body

  • They Can Be Composted

How do you use them?

Simply soak the sponge for about 10 to 20 minutes (if it's your first time using it), allowing it to expand and soften. Give the sponge a squeeze to release excess water and then either use on its own or with your favourite cleanser. From there, use the sponge to gently scrub your face in circular motions. Once cleansed and satisfied, rinse out the sponge and hang it to air-dry over night.

How do you keep them clean?

Even though some sponges claim to be antibacterial, they're not self-cleaning. Rinse your konjac sponge after every use, and keep it for about 1-2 months or depending upon how fluffy it keeps.

To clean your konjac sponge simply leave it in a dish of boiled water for up to 3 minutes. This will help kill off any bacteria on the sponge.
