Established in 2004, originally named The Renovation Store, Wild & Funk is an independent lifestyle store based in the historic City of Durham, England. We carry an unusual and interesting selection of imported home accessories, toiletries and gifts, many of which are new to the UK.

We work hard to ensure that the products we carry are ethically sourced and manufactured and where possible are made from recycled or sustainable materials. In addition, we follow our own environmental policy which includes recycling all of our shipping boxes and fillers for our mail and internet orders, so please do not be surprised if your order arrives in a pre-used outer box, and wherever possible please use or recycle the box yourself.

Making a purchase via our website could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept all major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard and American Express. If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. You may send your credit card information via our secure server or alternatively you can phone, fax, or mail this to us.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we ship your order. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.


Shipping And Handling

We currently ship within the United Kingdom and EU and a number of other countries worldwide. For shipping costs outside of the countries shown at checkout, please contact us by email and we will be happy to provide you with a shipping quote.
Orders received by 12 noon (Monday - Friday) are generally despatched same day. Your purchase should reach you within two business days by Royal Mail or BusinessPost. The method of shipping depends on the size, weight and value of your order. Please note that orders received on a Friday will not be delivered until the following Tuesday. Orders received after 12 noon (Monday - Friday) will be despatched on the next business day. Our basic shipping cost for items under 10 kilos is £5.50. Where multiple items can be combined and shipped together they will be and charged at the flat rate. If an item is out of stock, you will be notified and given the opportunity to either cancel the item or keep it on back order until it becomes available. There will be no additional shipping costs for items sent later as back orders.
For orders to be shipped outside of the UK please allow between 3-14 days for delivery.


Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will notify you and ask if you wish us to back order the item for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders delivered to the UK or the European Union, 15% VAT is included. Orders to all other countries are VAT Free but may be subject to local duties and taxes. All local taxes and duties must be paid locally upon delivery.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee

All of our products come with a 30 day no quibble guarantee. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, all we ask is that they are returned to us, unused, in thier original packaging, with all labels, tags and packaging intact. Once we receive the item back in a resellable condition, you will be refunded the total price of price of your purchase excluding our initial shipping costs.

Wild & Funk does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
